No good news
Well we went to see the doctor on the 21st. We didn't exactly get the news that we wanted, but we still may have a solution. The doctor said that Wilmas eggs may be to old to use, due to her age (47), and that I we couldn't use mine either for the same reason, (45). He ask her if she had had previous infertility treatment, which she had, without success. He said that it was most likely due to the age of her eggs at the time. He suggested that we try to get an egg donor and that if we went this route, that Wilma may even be able to carry the baby herself. I really felt bad, cause I wanted to help them become parents. She said that I shouldn't feel bad, that if its meant to be then so be it, but if not then that was ok too. I told her that I would ask my daughter if she would like to donate her eggs. At first she said that I didn't have to due that, but I told her that it wasn't a problem, cause she already has three children and I'm sure that she would love to help. Later that night I talked it over with my daughter, and she said yes, that she would help them and donate her eggs. When Wilma called me on Saturday, I told her that my daughter had said yes,and she just couldn't believe it. She ask why would she do that? I said that she wanted to help just as much as I did. Well Wilma is going to get back in touch with the doctor so he can get her records and we'll go from there. I'll keep writing and keep you posted.
